Knitted shawl with lace bands in a stockinette stitch body. The bulk of the knitting is done in stockinette with make one increases and short rows for shaping. There are some short garter stitch bands to accent the garter lace bands. (Garter lace bands have wrong side knit rows rather than the wrong side knit rows found in stockinette lace.)

This pattern is written to use Cascade Melilla yarn, but Fiberlady Midori yarn could be used as well.

Requirements (sold separately):

Needles: US 6 (4.0mm) 14" straight or 16" or longer circular

Yarn:  1 Skein Carcade Melilla Fingering Yarn (45% Silk/35% Wool/20% Nylon) 100 % Bamboo yarn, 3.5oz/100 grams, 437yd/400m per skein, Color No. 03 Market Shown
